With great interest the TIGRA visitors followed the latest developments regarding premium products, especially for carbide saw tips and reversible knives. Proved standard grades and first-class premium carbide qualities for individual applications ensure optimal breaking resistance and hardness and improve the surface features in solid wood, chipboards, MDF and HDF. Thus the best saw blade cannot be better than the saw tips brazed on.

To put our goals into practice very quickly, we are constantly working on improvements and innovations resulting in an even more optimal, highly efficient production.
Our highly-automated manufacturing machines, designed and built by our company’s own engineers, guarantee 100% optically controlled high-precision products, delivered to the customer at an optimal cost-performance ratio at short delivery times. In close co-operation with the tools manufacturers TIGRA develops optimally adjusted cutting geometries and grades resulting in long tool lifetime and considerable cost reductions.

By adding on a new logistics hall in 2012 and by further large investments in special machines and in production improvements of the carbide parts and PCD handling in 2013 we are looking forward to future challenges. „To preserve the good, would mean a standstill“, said senior boss Helge Motzer. At LIGNA the trade professionals could also view a selected spectrum of reversible knives, blanks for profiling, saw tips, planer knives, system planer knives, strips and tips, rods, PCD-blanks and segments and back-corrugated knives. Moreover special carbide knives applied in the most different industries such as textile processing, were presented, too.
